Mechanics
·As long as the strain in the TFT is kept below its critical
fracture strain, the TFT remains intact and safe.
·However, TFT still exhibits two effects:
·Slip of the TFT edge,
Induced by the long-term bending.
·Snap-back-induced delamination.
Induced by the non-returning shape of TFT on
returning shape of plastic.
