TFT on Silicon
Introduction
·The only practical approach is to reduce Si process
temperature and time (reduce thermal budget) because of
the following reasons:
·Wider variety of substrate material available such as
plastic, paper, and fabric (textile).
·Lower process temp. material such as adhesive and
bio-compatible material can be integrated.
·Reduced deformation and mechanical stress inside Si.
