Low Temperature TFT Device: a-Si
·There are two main mechanisms of VT roll-off:
· Defect generated in the channel layer (Si),
· Charge trapping in the gate dielectric.
· When ON, holes are insufficient to attract
electrons to form the channel.
· When OFF, holes are not evacuated and generate
leakage current.
