The research interests focus on the design, preparation and characterization of functional biomedical polymeric materials particularly in applications of drug delivery. In attempts to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce side effects of biologically active agents, polymeric biomaterials designed and fabricated in varying molecular and supramolecular architectures as novel drug carriers are being studied in this group.
