Spicy Shrimp with Vegetables
and Mama Africa Sauce
About one pound or a half kilo of shrimp (or more), already
cleaned
One big onion, chopped
About two green peppers, chopped
Olive oil
1 can corn (about 400 grams)
Mushrooms, cut in pieces (optional)
1 bottle Mama Africa Sauce (imported from South Africa, available
at upscale supermarkets such as Jason’s in Taiwan)
Rice
Saute together chopped onions and peppers in olive oil until
soft. Add shrimp and cook a few minutes
until no longer raw. Add corn, salt and
pepper as you like. Then add about half
a bottle of Mama Africa’s Sauce (any kind, I prefer the spicy red one). Serve with rice.
