Almond Balls


 

1 cup butter

¼ cup powdered sugar

2 cups sifted flour

1 cup ground almonds

1 teaspoon almond extract

 

 

Mix butter and sugar with electric mixer.  Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a spoon.  Roll into balls with the hands (about the size of a ping pong ball).  Bake on greased baking sheet at low temperature (about 160C) for about 35 minutes, until they start getting light brown on the bottom.  Remove from oven to cool.  Roll in powdered sugar when cooled.
