Technology 聯絡方式/Email: yangcm@mx.nthu.edu.tw 楊千旻助理教授畢業於東吳大學法律學院，期間曾獲傑賽普國際法辯論賽(Jessup)台灣區冠軍，並於2004年代表台灣至美國華盛頓參賽。畢業後進入美國加州柏克萊大學法律學系(University
of California, Berkeley)，並由美國專利法權威Robert P. Merges教授指導，相繼完成法學碩士(LL.M)和法學博士(J.S.D.)學位。其博士論文專攻半導體產業中專利之相關法律問題。期間，其亦進入台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司(TSMC)法務部實習。楊助理教授也曾應知名律師事務所Fenwick & West之邀約，擔任國際電腦軟體法研討會主講人之一。研讀博士班期間更在柏克萊法學院著名的Samuelson法律科技公共政策研究中心擔任研究助理，對於網路犯罪和經濟間諜法有深入的研究。畢業後，楊助理教授於紐約Mertz, Bitelman & Associates律師事務所擔任管理律師，其中曾出庭辯論Paypal之網路詐欺案件。楊助理教授的專長為智慧財產權法、專利權法、著作權法、商標法、網路與科技法律、電腦和軟體法、技術移轉授權契約和高科技產業併購法等。 Before joining

University as an Assistant Professor, Celeste Yang was the Managing Attorney
in Mertz, Bitelman & Associates P.C. in New
York City, where among many other cases, she litigated against Paypal for cyber fraud/misrepresentation cases. She earned her LL.B from Soochow
University, School of Law in 2005.
After graduation, she continued to pursue her legal education in
University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and earned her LL.M and
J.S.D degrees. Her advisor, Prof.
Robert P. Merges, is the world renowned scholar in patent law. Together, they focused the research on
the patent legal issues susceptible to disputes in the semiconductor
industry. While in Berkeley, she
received an internship in world's leading semiconductor company, Taiwan Semiconductor
Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in 2006; she was invited by Fenwick & West
LL.P as a panelist in the "International Software Protection
Seminar" in 2007; and she worked as a research assistant in the
well-known Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic. Celeste Yang's primary focus is in the
intellectual property law, including patent law, copyright law, trademark
law, cyber law, computer and software law, technology transfer and high tech
mergers and acquisition.
