Welcome to Advanced Optoelectronic Materials Research Group

We are a group of material scientists and device engineers in the department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University (MSE, NTHU) lead by Prof. Hao-Wu Lin. Our research interests are mainly in next-generation organic, organic-inorganic hybrid and nano-matierials. These novel materials combine the advantage of soft materials, which can be easily formed large area, flexible configuration, with electronic semiconducting behaviors which are the basis of optoelectronics. Our studies cover both fundamental material science and innovation in technologies and applications. Recent research topics incluse:

  • Next-Generation Flexible Transparent Conductor: Silver Nanowire Matrix, Conductive Polymer and Dielectric/Metal/Dielectric (DMD) structures for optoelectronic devices.
  • Next-Generation Solar cell and Photodiode: Low-Cost, Low-Temperature Fabrication of Organic Solar Cells and Perovskite Solar Cells, Novel Thin-Film Photodiode for Image Sensors.
  • Next-Generation Light Emission Devices (LED): Solution-processed and Vacuum-deposition Perovskite LED (PeLED) for displays and lighting. Perovskite Quantum-dots.
